Mr. Sithambaram Sri Ganendran serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Janashakthi Finance PLC. Prior to his appointment, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer and led the organisation as Acting Chief Executive Officer for four months from August 2025, ensuring stability, continuity, and focused execution during a key transition period.

With nearly 27 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector, Mr. Sri Ganendran has held senior leadership roles across leading local and international financial institutions. His expertise spans end-to-end banking operations, branch banking across retail and SME segments, operational risk management, business continuity management, business integration, process re-engineering, operational excellence, sales governance, credit card operations, information security and procurement.

He also brings close to a decade of leadership experience overseeing critical operational functions including Trade Finance, Treasury Operations, Credit Operations, Support Services, Administration, Premises and Physical Security, contributing to strong governance, effective controls and operational resilience.

Mr. Sri Ganendran’s broad operational exposure and hands-on leadership approach have enabled him to lead complex, multi-functional teams and support large-scale organisational transformation initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American City University, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI). He is also a Member of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka.
